Is This What You Call A Fair Life?

Why does this always happen to me?
Why does life ditch me again and again?
Did I go wrong somewhere…?
Or was I just the unlucky one?
I tried and struggled and got so far
But, just when I thought I was there,
It all just went away…
I was back to from where I began.

I’m all alone now,
Can’t believe that all went wrong.
Dunno of I can come up again,
All I hope is that I don’t get stamped on
By my past again…

The Flower Girl..

The lilies.. They have always been my favourite flowers. When I was a child, my mother made tiaras out of them for me. I would wear them on my head, pretending to be a princess. But then, she left. I never saw her again. Nor did I ever wear a tiara ever again. The bell rang and he entered the shop. For once, I could not take my eyes off him. But when I realized how unkempt I looked, I took to my heels and hid behind the flowers that lay on the table. “Well, how may I help you Sir?” I asked. “Err…Can I just look around?” People came to florists to buy flowers.
